San Diego

Daddy got a few extra days off from work, so we decided to take a trip to San Diego.

Our hotel room was small, but nice.

Each side of the bed had a firm pillow and a soft pillow.

Alexis liked that the room had a mirror just for her.

We had some camera issues in the beginning.
Alexis explored the entire room.

Daddy & Alexis being silly.

After we got settled in our room, we were all pretty hungry, so we went across the street to a restaurant called "Anthony's".
The restaurant is really neat. It's out on top of the ocean, and they have their own boat that they use to catch the seafood everyday.

Alexis had a great time!

Mommy got a kick out of the salad served on fish shaped plates.

Alexis really likes vacations!

What a little ham!

This is a view of our hotel from Anthony's.

Alexis enjoying the view from the deck at Anthony's.

The view from the dock.

After Alexis went to bed, Mommy & Daddy sat outside the room and spent time together.

It was a little chilly but still enjoyable.

Classy wine glasses.

The next day, we drove around part of the city.

The Eagles were in town to face the Charges (we didn't go to the game; this was a bit of a last minute trip).

We decided to stop for breakfast.

Alexis decided to stay in her pajamas until after breakfast.

Who knew ketchup bottles could be so much fun?

The view from the front of our hotel, during the day.

There was all kinds of art along the harbor.

I don't remember what this area was called, but there were all kinds of parks and museums.

That night, we went to the mall.

This mall was really cool.

As you walk through the hallways, you're actually outside (it's easier to tell in person).

Daddy and Alexis looking out at the city, from the hallway of the mall.

Cheese!

Then, to dinner again.

Alexis really enjoys eating.

SSSSSSSOOOOOOOO delicious!

"Leave Room for Beer", wiser words were never spoken.

Messy face.

Mommy & Alexis relaxing in our room.

Messy face, again.

Cleaned up and ready for bed...

...well, almost.

First a little playtime.

Daddy is so silly!

Such a happy girl!

Walking down the hotel hallway, in the morning.

Up close.

The cruise ships had arrived outside our hotel.

Why so serious?

More cruise ships.

Alexis doing something to Daddy's face.

Enjoying the day.

Finally, it was time to head home.

We were a little surprised to see this in California, and thought maybe we'd missed our turn and ended up in Boston.

Enjoying the view.
