Another Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

It was another beautiful day here in Vegas, so we made another family trip to the park. This park was different (no ducks), but was still lots of fun...

Daddy and Adam played tennis while Alexis worked on quality control testing of the tennis balls.

We also took a nice walk around the park

And the best part, Alexis got to go on the swings for the first time!

Wheeeeee!!!!

Chompers

Just a quick update. Alexis got her first tooth a week and a half ago (January 18, 2009) and then got her second tooth the very next day!

Alexis' new favorite place

Warning: If you live in the frozen tundra that is the Northeast, the Northwest, or anywhere in between, for that matter, you may want to wait four or five months before you read this.
Today was a BEAUTIFUL day in Las Vegas. The afternoon temperature was right around 70 degrees, so we decided to take a family trip to the park.
This was Alexis' first trip to the park, so we decided to go to a special one: with DUCKS!!

Quack, quack, quack!

Mommy & Alexis feeding the ducks some bread (mmmm...delicious!)

Daddy and Adam stopped for awhile to throw the football, while Alexis decided to go in for a closer look...

That's a lot of ducks!

Enjoying the weather!
Daddy liked the ducks too!

Happy girl! Happy day!

So tired!

Sleeping Beauty

Alexis LOVES to go to bed at night (yes, I know how lucky I am, and yes, I know it won't last). She's not great about sleeping through the night just yet, but if she's tired, just give her a pacifier and her blanket and she's as happy as can be. She'll grab ahold of her blanket, cuddle up to it, and roll over with a big grin on her face.

However, when I go in to check on her, I always seem to find her in the most interesting positions...

On her side, cuddling with her blankie.

Sleeping with the blankie over her face.

This is the same night as the last picture, but she's made her way to the exact opposite end of the crib, and she's sound asleep with her foot resting on top of the bumper pad.

Here's the side view of her foot on top of the pad.

Sleeping on her belly (notice she's holding the tie for the bumper pad - I didn't notice until the next morning - see below).

The next morning, lying on her belly (again facing the opposite direction), quite proud that she managed to untie the bumper pad and pull it down from the side.

Seven months old ALREADY!!

It's hard to believe that Alexis is seven months old already! I knew it would go fast, and I know it sounds cliche, but time has flown by!
