Last weekend, we got invited to a birthday party for Charlee, who was turning five.
So, Alexis put on a nice dress, and we headed out.
Alexis was very excited!
She just couldn't stop smiling, the whole way there!
Once we got there, Alexis spent some time checking everything out.
And what a party it was...

She spent a lot of time just watching what everyone was doing.

Alexis just had to get a closer look.
First, Mommy showed her how to do it.
Then, she tried it with Mommy's help.
And it wasn't long before Alexis was doing it on her own.
It wasn't easy, 
...especially with all the big kids bouncing,
...but she managed.
After bouncing, she decided to take it easy.

Then, we went inside, and the facepainter, gave her some whiskers and a pink, sparkly kitty-cat nose!
It was already a little smudged by the time she showed Daddy.

Then, Alexis decided to take Mommy on a walk.
That was fun too!

Then, our little kitty spotted something else...

Alexis went over to say "Hi",
...but this kitty was hard to catch,
...so Alexis just waved bye-bye, and the kitty went on its way.
By the end of the day, everyone was pretty tired, but we all had a nice time!
