WHERE ARE HER HAIRS???

My mom came to town from the 11th-16th. She had never been to Las Vegas, so we went all over, with Alexis in tow. She was such a little trooper and just went along with everything. One night, we were down on Fremont Street (downtown), and we ran into a small group of Asian tourists, who were just facinated with Alexis. They all took turns poking her leg to see if she was real, insisting she looked like a doll. While the others were taking their turns poking her, the one that had initiated the contact walked over to my mom and curiously asked "Where are her hairs?". My mom explained to her that in our family hair doesn't usually come for awhile.
It's no secret that Alexis is as bald as a cue ball (although she is starting to get a small amount of blonde hair), but we got a pretty big kick out of that none the less. Here are some more pictures from her visit.

My mom with the two friendliest (but worst looking Elvis impersonators -the good looking Elvis threatened to have us arrested for trying to take his picture - Buddy, you're on Fremont Street dressed like Elvis, what do you think is going to happen?)

And the reason everyone comes to Vegas, the Strip...

California Dreamin'

Yesterday, we went to California for the first time since Alexis was born. It wasn't a terribly exciting trip, but Grandma Smith came to town, and she wanted to go, because she had never been to California. We just went across state lines and bought lottery tickets (Believe it or not, but in the gaming mecca there is no lottery). Then, we turned around and came home. She wore her new sunglasses and just looked SO cute. She passed out by the time we got there.

Perfectly Perfect!

We went to the doctor today for Alexis' 3 month check up. She's now 13 pounds 3.5 ounces and 24.25 inches. She's in the 80th percentile for height and right around the 50th percentile in weight (which is almost exactly where she was the last time we went to the doctor). The doctor really got a kick out of how strong she was and how well she can hold herself up (she's trying to sit up already). The doctor also kept going on and on about how adorable and perfect she is. So, I guess we're not the only ones who think so!

DA BEARS!

Chicago Bears: 29
Indianapolis Colts: 13

Sunday was Alexis' first Bears game. She seemed to enjoy spending time with Daddy.

Eventually, the excitement got to be too much for her, and she fell asleep, but I think overall she had a good day

Three months of Alexis

Alexis was born on 06-07-08. Here are some of my favorite pictures over the last three months...

Only a few seconds old and already sticking her tongue out at Daddy.

This is the picture we used for her birth announcement.

Sleeping the day away.

Two week check-up

First bath.

Sitting on Uncle Adam's lap.
Thank you, Dr. Wilkes, for giving us our daughter!!!
Froggy girl, aka "Kermit the Granddaughter" (as named by my dad)
Bunny slippers are the best!
Without a doubt, one of my favorite pictures.
Just hanging out.
I swear, I didn't put her hat like that. It's just too big, so it twisted to the side.

Daddy & Alexis

Elvis and Alexis have a special bond.

Babyzilla strikes again!

I came home from work a few weeks ago and found her sound asleep on my bed just like this. Daddy was playing video games!

Even Chuck Norris can't beat these abs!
