Carnival

One day, Mommy & Daddy noticed that there was a carnival that had arrived just a few blocks from our house, so we decided to take Alexis and go check it out.
This was her first Ferris Wheel ride.

The sun was very bright!

Mommy & Alexis enjoying the ride.

The view.

Can you see our house? Nah, me neither.

The Strip.

Alexis really enjoyed it.

Daddy did too.

Ducky game.

Alexis trying to sniff out the right one.

Silly girl.

Daddy played darts.

Then, on to the Merry-Go-Round.

Mommy loves her little girl.

Hold on tight!

So much fun!

Smiling for Daddy.

Next up, the dragon ride.

Come on, Daddy!

Silly Daddy!

The sea turtle (Daddy's dart winnings) came along for a ride too!

From outside the dinosaur.

Alexis enjoyed the Ferris Wheel so much, that she wanted to go again,
but we only had enough tickets for two riders,

so Mommy waited on the ground while Daddy & Alexis went on again.

Waiting for their turn.

Ready to go!

Up, up and away!

There they go!

Coming back down.

All done.

What carnival would be complete without trying some cotton candy?
Mmmmm...delicious!

Gymboree

Mommy & Daddy thought it would be a good idea to join some kind of class so that Alexis could meet other kids her age. She doesn't go to day care, and most of the people we know have older (or no) children. After much consideration, we decided to join Gymboree. Here are some pictures from her first couple of weeks at Gymboree.

We absolutely love Gymboree! It's been a lot of fun for the whole family!!

Playing in a tube.

Alexis loves to play with the basketball net.

The balls are her favorite.

Learning about circles.

Climbing through the tube.

And through another one.

I'm not sure where she got the idea to tilt her head for the camera.

Sharing with new friend, Leila (I did my best to not get pictures of the other kids' faces - not an easy task in a room with 25+ children).

Attentively listening to Miss Angela.

I'm in the mood for bubbles!

I'm in the mood today!

If you're in the mood for bubbles, then stand up and shout "Hooray!" (one of the Gymboree songs we learned).

Alexis and Leila love this toy!

Wheeeeeee!

There's that head tilt again.

Busy, busy.

Slam dunk!

New friends.

Pointing to her belly.

More bubbles.

So serious.

So much fun!!!!
