Christmas

Okay, so I know I'm really far behind, when I do my Christmas post in March, but better late than never.

We were really excited for Christmas this year. We thought that Alexis would really enjoying opening the gifts. Afterall, isn't that what 18 month olds do best, tear things apart?

Our tree.

But, it turns out we were wrong. Here is Alexis eating a Pop-Tart, not even remotely interested in what might be under the tree.

Even Elvis walked right by his stocking.

Eventually, Pop-Tart in hand, Alexis pulled the stuff out of her stocking.

And that's where it stopped.

Here is Alexis playing with the box that Daddy's new shoes came in.

And, holding the treats from Elvis' stocking.

So proud of herself!

Looking at Elvis' new bandana.

Finally checking out a toy.

Sitting on Daddy's lap, while he opened her gifts.

Enjoying her new chair and CD player from Grandma & Grandpa.

Still not interested in the wrapped gifts.

One of only two gifts she even helped to open.

She had to stand up for this one.

Looking at her gift from her uncles, before handing it to Daddy to open.

New books!!

Thank you, Uncle Allen & Uncle Adam!

Daddy still opening presents.

Alexis and her new doll, bald and blue eyed, just like her!

Laptop from Uncle Bob & Aunt Diane.

Piggy bank from Grandma & Grandpa.

Concentrating very hard.

It took about two hours, but we FINALLY got through all the gifts, and then it was time for dinner, prime rib and crab legs....YUM!!!
