Cake and ice cream

The cake and ice cream were such a big hit at Alexis' party that I had to give them their own post.

Cousin Morgan and Aunt Christine made these butterfly cupcakes.

They were chocolate cake with white frosting.

Morgan did the baking and Aunt Christine did the decorating. We went with a bug theme, since it was (mostly) an outdoor party. Besides, Mommy just loves butterflies!

We took off her dress, so it wouldn't get ruined.

Aunt Christine didn't have a high chair, so Mommy held Alexis.

She still managed to make a pretty good mess, even with Mommy's help.
