Even in the desert it rains sometimes

This past weekend was especially rainy.

So we decided to head inside to the Las Vegas Natural History Museum.

We saw lots of animals.

Alexis encouraged the bears to stop fighting.

There was a big open air shark tank.

Two sharks and a sting ray. Daddy asked the ray if he was from Tampa Bay. I'm not sure we ever got the answer to that.

Alexis and a whale.

Up close.

Daddy says this is how he got Mommy. Silly Daddy!

Alexis uncovering fossils on an archaeological dig.

Navigating around icebergs.

We all live in a yellow submarine.

A yellow submarine.

Hanging out in an African hut.

Just her size.

Dinosaurs.

Roar!

Mountain dwellers.

Bunny!

Giraffes are tall!

On the way out, Daddy and Alexis stopped to see how big they were compared to an elephant's tusk.
