First 1st Birthday

Since we will be out of town for Alexis' actual first birthday, Grandpa Jimmy and Grandma Kay came for a visit this past weekend. Let the spoiling begin...

Grandma INSISTED that Alexis open one of her gifts, even though Daddy was at work.

This was the nice bag it came in.

Alexis was anxious to see what was inside.

I don't know how I managed to not get any pictures of what was inside the bag, but it was filled with lots of nice new clothes for Alexis.

The next day (when Daddy could watch), we moved on to the big present.

San Gennaro Feast

This past weekend, we went to the San Gennaro Feast. It was basically set up like the fair but with lots and lots of Italian food.

And a very tall "short" bus

Alexis wasn't sure what to expect.

She once again refused to wear her hat, so we loaded her up with sun block and bought her these new sunglasses.

Once we got inside, Alexis decided that this was her kind of place.

And she enjoyed some of the food.

Mmmmm....delicious!

Our Little Monkey

Alexis has turned into quite the little monkey. She's getting very good at climbing on furniture and even walking (with assistance), so when we saw this monkey shirt, Mommy & Daddy just had to buy it for her.
